About OnPix

OnPix is a sophisticated web processing system that is installed on dedicated web servers inside camera stores throughout Australia, in England and New Zealand. It was designed and created by iWave Pty Ltd which then consisted of Cameron Meindl, Yaki Kellner and me.

OnPix proved so successful that in January 2002 a new company named OnPix Pty Ltd was established to continue to develop and market it. OnPix has gone on to win major software awards and secure major national and international contracts.  It now commands an estimated 70% of the Australian online photo-processing market. Awards include:

OnPix web servers connect to digital labs and film scanners within camera stores. Client's images are automatically processed by OnPix and placed online for display so clients can purchase prints and enlargements online, share photos in customisable albums, send postcards, etc.

Special facilites within OnPix cater for large scale commercial photo processing and print sales, supporting professional photographers and major events such as the Masters Games. It includes sophisticated e-commerce, remote image uploads and a comprehensive editing and control system that works remotely from anywhere in the world.
